Joe Pokolm was born in Freudenburg, Ostpreussen, Germany on November 30. 1902, and died in Humboldt, Saskatchewan on
October 12, 1970 at age 68.
Katherine Pokolm (nee Schneider/Hinz) was born in Fulda, Saskatchewan on January 10, 1908. She died in Humboldt,
Saskatchewan on February 29, 1996 at age 88.

Herb was born in Muenster, Saskatchewan on October 11, 1930. I always celebrated my birthday since I
was a kid on the 17th. However, when I applied for my Birth Certificate, they told me I was born on the 11th.
So, after several years of confusing birthdates -- with the family, I decided we shall celebrate it on the 17th, like I always
did.
Rose was born in Steveston, B.C. (which is now a part of Richmond) on May 17, 1934. She had the same problem
as I did, with the Birth Certificate, as she always celebrated her birthday on the 16th., not the 17th. So, she decided
to keep on celebrating her birthday on the 16th, which was the day her mother said she was born.
